Elin Jones MS launched the ‘Unsettled Lives: War and Displacement in Wales’ exhibition on the day the First World War ended, to commemorate all those people who were displaced to Wales because of wars.
The exhibition focuses on displacement in the first half of the 20th century due to conflict and war, and includes works by refugees now living in Ceredigion. The exhibition is located in the Senedd Oriel, and will be there until Thursday, the 22nd of January 2026.
Elin Jones AS said: “I was pleased to welcome the exhibition and its contributors to the Senedd, especially Victoria, Irina and Mohamad who were displaced from the Ukraine. Their artwork reflects their homeland, including the reasons they had to leave it behind, and also portrays elements of the new life they have built for themselves in Ceredigion.”
