The 7th of May 2026 was a historic day for Wales and for Plaid Cymru. Anna Nicholl, Kerry Ferguson, and Elin Jones were elected as Plaid Cymru Members of Senedd for Ceredigion Penfro.

Elin has extensive experience of serving Ceredigion as a Member of the Senedd since 1999. He was Minister for Agriculture, and was the Presiding Officer of the Senedd for the last 10 years. Elin is the Plaid Cymru Government's Finance Minister, and she is keen to continue with the work of assisting you with local issues that matter to you. |
Kerry Ferguson

Kerry is a successful business owner and former mayor of Aberystwyth, where she lives. Kerry is the Deputy Speaker of the Senedd (Welsh Parliament), and she is looking forward to working with Anna and Elin on local causes and issues that are important to you. |
Anna Nicholl

Anna lives in Cardigan, where she was born and raised. Anna has had a successful career in public policy in Wales for over 25 years, and worked with members of the Plaid Cymru government. Anna is your Member of Senedd, she will be able to represent you on the Senedd floor. |
